Resurrecting an Old Favorite

The Determined Cook has risen from the ashes of pure convenience, laziness, and fast food.  As the prolific Erma Bombeck said, “When it comes to cooking, five years ago I felt guilty “just adding water.” Now I want to bang to tube against the counter top and have a five-course meal pop out. If it comes with plastic silverware and a plate that self destructs, all the better.”  That truly was my sentiment for the last couple of months, but I have grabbed the reigns of my runaway life, steered myself towards my kitchen, and begun to cook.  Please re-join me as I fumble through ingredients, kitchen tools, family likes and dislike, and healthy food choices.
